An important part of an optimum production process in many facilities is a filter system designed specifically for the application. Whether a planned filter system is suitable for a defined task can often only be ascertained by practical tests. However, laboratory tests cannot supply any meaningful conclusions here, since the characteristics of the process air actually present in the facility can only be reproduced in the lab to a limited extent.
One solution is our mobile filter chamber, which is set up directly in the production building. It is then possible to tap volumetric flows directly from a process under actual conditions so that irregularities such as changes in particle size due to extraction or conveying of particles can be avoided and a valid result obtained. An experimental optimisation of the filter parameters is also possible in this way, for example by determining an ideal filter medium for a defined application. Long-term tests can also be useful, for example for forecasting maintenance expenditure or servicing costs.
