After drying, printed or painted parts such as plastic bottles have to be cooled for further processing. To ensure drying results of consistent quality, the temperature distribution and air flow must be uniform over the whole surface. Tangential fans ensure perfectly even air distribution. Thanks to their low dimensions and special flow principle, which allows a space-saving arrangement of the tangential fans and heat exchangers, the external dimensions of such installations can be reduced while maintaining the same process space. In addition, the discharge length of the fans can be matched exactly to the width of the conveyor or batch. This makes the air flow conditions in the dryer independent of the dryer width. With modular systems you can therefore test the air flow with the smallest version, and it will be no different in wider machines. This considerably simplifies the design and development of model series.

LTG tangential fans are particularly useful for drying. This is because of their ability to distribute air very evenly over large areas. They allow you to set up efficient, high-quality drying processes at low cost. Thanks to their flow principle with 90° or 180° deflection, you can do without expensive baffles and nozzle boxes and enjoy the benefits of an elegant, space-saving and economical design. Our LTG fans are available in a wide range of sizes and ratings, including easy-to-clean stainless steel versions for applications in the food industry. For high pressures we offer high-quality and versatile LTG centrifugal fans. Finally, LTG's fan range includes highly efficient LTG axial fans. These are ideal for large air quantities.

Our engineering services are available if you need help in designing air and heating systems and have to select exact values of parameters that are important for your processes, such as air temperature, heating and cooling capacities, and humidity. We'll work with you to develop an optimum design and verify it using state-of-the-art aids such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and tests at our technical centre.
