It may be to determine the right air-conditioning system, because local factors have changed or the user is not satisfied: the reasons for verifying the thermal and acoustic comfort in buildings are varied. Assessment of the thermal comfort is for example also essential for DGNB certification, since this requires confirmation of compliance with Category B as per DIN 7730.
LTG’s engineering services have all the technical expertise needed to assess comfort. Room flow measurements are performed as per DIN EN 15726:2011, the relevant European standard relating to comfort from ventilation and air-conditioning equipment, and as such they are recognised and informative.
For the measurement of room flow and thermal comfort, we use for example a measuring system that measures local air temperature and velocity at various room heights in order to determine the comfort parameters as per DIN EN ISO 7730 and DIN EN 15251.
All measurement results are comprehensively and informatively documented, and contain specific recommendations from our experienced engineers on what action to take. For complicated requirements in particular, LTG’s engineering services help to assess the situation and pave the way to an optimum air-conditioning solution. Get in touch with us!
